The Rough Country 5097 Jeep JK Rear Extended Driveshaft is a great upgrade after installing a small to moderate lift and necessary with larger lifts.
Description
The stock driveshafts on the Jeep JK are built to operate smoothly and quietly on the road. The problem is, once you lift your Jeep Wrangler, those shafts just are not going to handle the increased operating angles.
On small to moderate lifts up to 3.5", an extended driveshaft with 1310 c/v joints will eliminate driveline vibrations. After installing taller lifts up to 6", a new shaft is absolutely necessary. Rough Country shafts are built by industry leader Tom Wood and are built to be extremely durable and last a long time - even under harsh off-road conditions.
Shafts are built specifically for front and rear, as well as 2 door or 4 door applications:
